The Gift Guide
For every type of mom
Hey, moms! As you’re busy making magic for everyone else this season, don’t forget to add a few things to your own wish list. Or even better, send this entire guide to Santa. ;-)
Below you’ll find my personal favorites: gifts that help the days feel gentler, kinder, or simply more beautiful.
Elegant cordless lamps - for the interior-minded. These rechargeable, cordless lamps add an elegant vibe to any gathering and also look perfect when lighting up a kitchen corner.
An original piece of art - for the beauty-seeker. I love the colors and movement in Jocelyn Elizabeth’s “possibilities” series. These mixed media paintings include watercolor, charcoal, inks and acrylics on paper, and represent the threads of possibilities we hold onto in the face of constant change. Jocelyn has offered a code “GIFT40” for 40% off, bringing some of these original pieces to under $100!
Gldn’s personalized necklace - for the sentimental mom. Give her a gold charm necklace with her kids’ initials. It’s a true keepsake. I’ve worn this necklace for five years and it still looks beautiful.
A poetry collection on motherhood - for the mom who wants to feel seen. My new poetry collection, A History of Holding, captures motherhood in its full complexity—the ache of exhaustion, the wonder of small moments, and the way time bends and blurs. Grab a signed, premium edition packaged with extras and a gold wax seal for $20. International orders here.
Heated eye mask - for the mom who could use help winding down. This soothing eye mask signals rest to even the most active minds. Add a little music and you’ve achieved peak relaxation, even if only for ten minutes. It’s rechargeable and lasts much longer than something you’d microwave.
Ceramic match striker - for the one who’s all about vibes. I don’t have this exact one, but handmade match strikers are one of my favorite small luxuries. There’s something so grounding about striking a match and lighting a candle—tiny ritual, big exhale.
These soft pajamas- for the one who could use a little luxury. These are incredibly soft and the teal is such a gorgeous color. These feel a lot fancier than my usual oversized tee.
Kept- for the busy mom. Touted as “the baby book, reimagined,” Kept includes prompts that are less focused on statistics, and more on the little things that make your child who they are. The questions make it easy to go back and fill out, even if you’re starting a couple of years after birth. I also love the minimal, aesthetic design.
Quickening- for the creative mom. Perfect for the creative moms. Heidi Fiedler’s new book, Quickening, is an invitation to explore creativity in the midst of motherhood. You’ll find creative prompts you’ve never seen before, and ideas for making them a part of your daily life.
A subscription to Lindsey Wilkin’s art mail - for the one who loves the little things. For just $12 a month, you can receive an original art print by mail, along with a sticker and letter from the artist herself.
“Motherhood is poetry” tote - for the one who carries it all. I designed this tote myself, and it’s genuinely one of my most used items. I love the super sturdy handles (she’s hauled nearly 40 books). The soft, floppy body also folds down to practically nothing.
Massage gun - for the mom who could use a spa day. Maybe she can’t sneak away to the spa this season, but this massage gun will be her new best friend. It’s lightweight and easy to use. A true gift for those aching muscles.

oh it holds the matches AND you can strike on it, that's clever
Such a great list!’
